News of the wierd

A German village has decided the best way to improving road safety is to remove all traffic lights and stop signs. What???? Starting today, traffic controls will disappear from the center of Bohmte to try to reduce accidents and make life easier for the pedestrians.

Did you know that actor, Tim Daly, star of the new series "Private Practice" used to live on the east side in Providence across from Hope High School???? You may remember Daly from the 90"s when he starred in a little show called "Wings."

Rocker, Mick Jagger is in Boston today joining the cast of "The Women." Jagger will be in town filming all week. He is also, financing the flick. Actress, Candace Bergen is also, arriving this week to film her scenes with Meg Ryan. Bergen plays Ryan's mother in the film.
